meditation and mindfulness resources
It is estimated that our brains fires off tens of thousands of thoughts a day. Some say that as high as 90% are from the day before. When our minds are turbulent they send messages to our body. These messages can actually trigger fight or flight responses, based on thoughts about events that are not happening in the moment. Calming and sorting through our thoughts creates better insights into our feelings and our resulting behaviors.
There are so many resources available to us on-line and likely in your community. This is a sampling of some practices to get you started.
