The Results Are In

Your Success-Factor Superpower is
Perspective!

I know there’s much more to you than those nine quiz questions, but here is what I do know.

You have the gift of perspective.

You are able to keep work and life in balance. The same goes for your relationships and personal wellness. While one area of life may need more attention than others at times, thanks to your perspective superpower, you have the ability to calibrate the attention you need to give the different areas of your life. You always prioritize and make the space for what’s needed.

While your superpower is quieter than most, you are prone to have a self-assuredness that is, well, balanced. This makes those around you comfortable showing up and utilizing their superpowers.

What's not to appreciate about that?

However, just like our beloved superheroes,
our superpowers also have a shadow side.

While your superpower can help you through small bursts of stress, your shadow side is likely to show up in prolonged high-pressure situations. These are the situations that put your determination superpower into overdrive.

While this doesn't happen often when it does you may lose sight of what’s important and feel overwhelmed, aggressive, or resentful. You may find yourself feeling less balanced and unable to find perspective as you shift into a state of hyper-focus. Suddenly, small things may appear to be much harder or more serious than they normal.

We all recognize that there are times when we need to be laser focused on a goal or outcome and when that happens we may lose our perspective on the larger picture.

When high-level stress continues without breaks that allow you to reset, your superpower can become diminished. When this happens, it can be challenging.  As a result, you may be  unable to see beyond a singular focal point. This can be difficult on those around you more importantly take a huge toll on you.

And here’s the kicker: when your perspective dims you may find an inner critic popping up.

That’s right, your laser-focus  might be cloaking thoughts that you need to  prove your worth and value. As stress grows your inner critic does too and your greatest qualities are overshadowed and your superpower sparkle is dimmed.

"Self-care is, fundamentally, about bringing balance back to a life that has grown imbalanced from too many commitments or responsibilities. - Robyn L. Gobin

Hello, friend! I’m Linda Rhoads ✨

I’m a purpose and leadership coach who helps people tame their inner critics and live life free from feeling like they are not enough. Not smart enough, not credentialed enough, not young enough, not old enough.  You name it.

There are too many “not enoughs” to list and I lived with many of them as my high-speed inner critic guided my life.

Eventually, finding myself literally sick and tired of trying to "be enough" I made a choice. I learned to silence my inner critic. As a result, I recrafted my life . . .  from the inside out.  Once I no longer had a symphony of criticism playing in my mind I was able to reshape my whole life into something that represents me.

Looking around, I  saw that so many people were grappling with the same internal obstacles. In 2019 I started coaching women on taming their inner critic.  Now I guide people toward banishing that critical harassment so that they can experience a newfound sense of self-assurance, fulfillment and connection.

Supporting people through this dynamic process of transformation and growth as they redefine their sense of themselves is what I do. Seeing people as they gain clarity, confidence, and liberation is deeply rewarding,

I’d love to help you experience that shift, too.
